Our Mission

Desert Bloom Multiples (DBM) is an inclusive support group for parents and caregivers of multiples (twins, triplets, and higher order multiples). We accept and embrace members of every age, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and nationality.

Our mission is to provide advice, resources, and camaraderie to those in our community who know the unique challenges, struggles, and joys of raising multiples.

The majority of our families live in the East Valley (Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Queen Creek), but we welcome anyone in the Phoenix Metro area!

Why should I consider joining Desert Bloom Multiples?

Raising multiples brings a lot of joy, but also special challenges. Desert Bloom Multiples provides a supportive community to its members through various meet ups and a private Facebook group. Every child is unique and every family is different, but we all come together to support one another and have a little fun along the way! Many of our members have met lifelong friends from within this group.

When does the club meet and what types of events are there?

Desert Bloom Multiples has monthly meetings. Some of our meetings feature a guest speaker. Some examples of guest speakers we have had include a Pelvic Floor Specialist, Mental Health Therapist, Dietitian, Pediatric Physical Therapist, and more. Other meetings are more activity-based and have included an All About Mother’s Day meeting where we decorated cookies and played games, a recipe exchange to help with those busy nights, meetings to make NICU cards for a local hospital, and many others!

Other club events include a monthly Members’ Night Out where you can go out with your friends of multiples to relax a bit, a Monthly Book Club, Fall and Spring Family Parties, a Winter Holiday Party, our Annual Installation Dinner, and Movie Nights. We also host charity events such as Adopt-A-Family, where we collect donations for a family in need around the holidays. We also volunteer at the Mesa Marathon Aid Station which has been a member-favorite over the years!

Why is there an annual due of $35?

Annual dues help cover the cost of our events including our Spring and Fall Family Parties, Christmas Party, Annual Installation Dinner, and other rewards throughout the year.

What is the breakdown of the annual dues?

The annual membership dues are $35 and our club year runs from August 1 through July 31. If you join mid-year, membership will be pro-rated.

June 1 – Dec 31: $35
Jan 1 – April 1: $15
After April 1: $35 and dues will apply to the following year
